ROAD CLOSURE - Beveridge Lane, Bardon/Ellistown; Franks Road, Bardon

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at Beveridge Lane, Bardon/Ellistown; Franks Road, Bardon.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching.
Road closures and prohibition of waiting and loading are required on the above locations on the 18th April 2024 for four days. Closures/restrictions will be in place daily between 07:00 and 18:00 as follows:
• 18th and 19th April 2024 Road Closure - Beveridge Lane, Bardon between West Lane and Regs Way. This will also include the closure of Franks Road at its junction with Beveridge Lane. Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading on Franks Road between Tara Street and Beveridge Lane The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Bardon Road, Regs Way; and vice versa.
• 20th and 21st April 2024 Road Closure - Beveridge Lane, Bardon/Ellistown between Regs Way and 150m west of the railway bridge A Suspension of 7.5t Weight Restriction and a Prohibition of Waiting and Loading will only be in place when the road is closed for to allow access to the Industrial Estates. The weight restriction will be in force when the closures are lifted/overnights.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: West Lane, Victoria Road, Ellistown Terrace Road, Whitehill Road; and vice versa.
