AIn accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1972, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of Stanton under Bardon Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 17th January 2024 starting at 7:00pm in the Meeting Room, Stanton under Bardon Village Hall, 2 St John Cole Crescent, Stanton under Bardon, LE67 9AE for the purpose of transacting the business shown below:

The period of 15 minutes will be allocated to allow members of the public to raise any comments or ask questions to the Council

    1. To discuss and consider the purchase of a new dog waste bin along the footpath near to Main Street allotments

    1. To receive the bank statements for November and December 2023
    2. To consider adopting the financial statement for November and December 2023
    3. To consider adopting the bank reconciliation for November and December 2023
    4. To receive the budgeting monitoring sheet for the end of Q3 to 31st December 2023
    5. To consider the draft payment list for January 2024
    6. To consider supporting an application by the Without Walls Christian Fellowship to the Parish and Community Initiative Fund
    7. To discuss and consider the draft procurement policy for Stanton under Bardon Parish Council
    8. To note a report on the status of the Council’s investments

  1. To consider any planning application presented following the publication of the agenda

 

  1. PROPOSAL OF CLOSED SESSION
    1. In accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 section 1 paragraph 2, to consider excluding the public and press for the following items for the reason that matters appertain to staff employment and staff appraisals that are of a confidential nature

 

      1. To consider and discuss contracts of employment for members of staff
      2. To note the Clerks appraisal 2023-24
      3. To discuss and consider changes to the Clerks working hours
      4. To discuss and consider changes to the Clerks pay grade

In accordance with The Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014, photographs, audio and video recordings of the meeting and of those attending may be taken at the meeting by the press and others.
